Performance coaching
Hope isn't a strategy.
So why is it yours?
I'm Alex. I spent years as a private equity investor, hoping the next deal would feel easier, hoping I'd finally make it to the gym, hoping things would ease up. They didn't, not without a change. Now I coach the people in and around that world: high performers who want the success, without the cost that usually comes with it.
Everything stays between us. Always.
The work
Energy. Time. Belief.
10 sessions. Every two weeks. We work on your energy, your time, and the beliefs that are holding both back.
Sessions are tailored to what you need, typically going deep in these three areas.
Energy
We look at core foundations first: sleep, routines and self-regulation. We strengthen these to support you when the pressure builds. Calmer within weeks, more energised for work and life.
Time
Next we look at your diary. We work out what should be in and out. We work out what extra support you need: EA, juniors, at home. We protect space for the strategic work that makes a difference.
Belief
We do some inner work. Helping prevent the 3am worries, the waiting to be found out and the procrastination that stops you from starting. This is where capacity gets built.

Who I am
I used to do your job.
I know what it can cost.
I spent years in private equity before I trained as a coach. It was an incredibly rewarding role on every level.
I also felt the pressure, the late nights and the pull in all directions. I found that whilst the drive was there, I didn't always set myself up in the best way.
Having been in this world and now coached so many, I know what helps and what doesn't. I'm not translating your world from the outside: I was there for years.
Almost everyone I work with looks like this: high-performing, hard-working, trusted. They self-selected at each stage towards a more ambitious path. Yet they’ve started to wonder why it feels so relentless and if there's another way.
I help my clients to feel calmer, leverage their time better and step up across every area of their life.
What I bring is the full toolkit: coaching, CBT and deeper nervous-system work, not just a helpful conversation. And one rule that doesn't bend: I work for the individual. Everything stays between us.
An honest audit
What you think is helping.
And what it's actually costing.
The habit
The cost
The habit
Giving more and more hours, because that's the lever that has always worked.
The cost
Slower thinking, and no space for the strategic work that makes a difference.
The habit
Doing it yourself, because explaining it takes longer and isn't always right.
The cost
An underused team, too close to spot the errors, no time to lead or be strategic.
The habit
Running on adrenaline and coffee, and increasingly seeing this as what it takes to succeed.
The cost
Worries that catch up with you at bedtime, a body that's starting to compla, and no space to plan ahead.
The habit
Waiting until after the next deal to sort it. Thinking you'll do it yourself.
The cost
Nothing changing, just time (and missed opportunities) passing by.

What people say
In their words.
Clients in this world stay anonymous, so these are roles rather than names.
“Her advice was always clear, practical, and tailored, and the follow-up made sure things actually changed rather than just being discussed.”
“I am in a much more positive state of mind where work is one aspect of my life, not the only thing.”
“She introduced me to what felt like small tweaks but had a much bigger impact.”
“Alex's ability to actively listen, leverage her own experience and provide clear, objective guidance helped me to gain more confidence in my approach and ultimately, take the next step in my career.”
“I have a much clearer sense of my strengths, what makes me tick and what is important to me, and how to make the most of my time.”
“I now have a personal toolkit of mechanisms that I can put in place as and when I need to.”
